Roxanne Southern has spent 21 years in real estate full-time, with a license going back to 1980. Born in California, she moved to Virginia with her family in the 1970s and built her career around Arlington single-family homes, focusing on downsizing moves and maximizing value for a client's next purchase. She's a Senior Partner at Monumental and the hyperlocal expert for The Jefferson, a retirement community in Ballston. Her production includes roughly $200 million in volume across more than 500 transactions, over 300 with senior clients. She's a Diamond producer with NVAR and Samson Properties, and holds the Senior Real Estate Specialist designation.
Before real estate, Roxanne worked as an account executive in logistics and other sales roles. Her approach is consultative: she walks clients through what's ahead and follows through on what she says she'll do. She points to one moment as the clearest sign her work matters: a client, settled into their new place after downsizing, telling her simply how happy they are to have moved. Roxanne is president of the Fairfax chapter of Planning for Senior Life.
